By downloading, installing, or using the application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Description of the Service

WOWFrance is an educational and cultural heritage application offering:

  • 360° Virtual Reality (VR) panoramic views of historical and cultural sites.

  • Augmented Reality (AR LIVE) features overlaying cultural information onto your real-world view.

  • An AI-powered interactive voice and text cultural guide.

  • Interactive maps and pedestrian orientation toward heritage points of interest.

3. Physical Safety Warning (AR/VR & Outdoor Navigation)

Using Augmented Reality (AR LIVE), 360° panoramas, and map navigation in real-world environments requires your full attention to your physical surroundings:

  • Stay Aware of Your Surroundings: Always stop walking and stand in a safe location before viewing 360° panoramas or interacting with the AR camera screen.

  • Real-World Hazards: Pay close attention to vehicular traffic, cyclists, pedestrians, stairs, uneven cobblestones, steep drops, waterways, and other physical obstacles common around historical monuments and villages.

  • Parental Supervision: Minors should use the application under the supervision of a responsible adult.

  • Association WOWFrance is not liable for any personal injury, accidents, or property damage resulting from inattention to physical surroundings while using the app.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The interactive guide uses artificial intelligence and text-to-speech technologies to answer user queries in real time:

  • Responses are provided strictly for cultural, historical, and informational purposes.

  • While we strive for historical accuracy, AI-generated explanations may occasionally contain inaccuracies or omissions.

  • Map indicators in the app do not override local safety signs, restricted property boundaries, or official trail closures.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • WOWFrance Content: All original 360° panoramic imagery created by Association WOWFrance, along with the app's design, code, audio, and branding, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the app.

  • Third-Party Content: Map data and fallback Street View panoramas provided via Google Maps Platform are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service (https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/).

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  1. Use the voice or text query system to generate illegal, abusive, or harmful content.

  2. Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract our 360° media database or API keys.

  3. Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the integrity or performance of our backend servers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. The app requires an active Internet connection and GPS capability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Association WOWFrance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the service.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of the application is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://wowfrance.online, which details how location, microphone, and camera permissions are handled.

9. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in France.
